Grow With Me Parent-Child Group
Life Steps Foundation is partnering again with Help Me Grow - San Mateo County! Our Grow With Me parent-child groups aim to provide education in the area of child development and family support for families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at no cost.
This next six-week group series will be offered for families with Infants 6 - 12 months. We will meet virtually over Zoom. We will video conference in our own comfortable space. The classes will be led by our Early Interventionists.
The program offers:
- 6 one-hour groups covering different areas of development and how to promote your child's growth and developmental skills
- Opportunities to meet other parents and caregivers and learn from each other’s experiences
- Learn activities and songs to engage with your child
- Opportunities to consult with an Early Interventionist or Infant Development Specialist
- In each session, we will cover different areas of child development. You are welcome to join any or all the weeks.
INFANT (6 - 12 months) TOPICS:
o October 6th: CONNECT: BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS
o October 13th: DAILY ROUTINES AND FEEDING
o October 20th: LET ME SLEEP - SENSORY, CALM, AND SLEEP
o October 27th: WE PLAY WE LEARN: PLAY AND FINE MOTOR
o November 3rd: LEARN WITH MOVEMENT: GROSS MOTOR
o November 10th: EARLY COMMUNICATION
