Infant and Children Services Projects

The Infant and Children Division of Life Steps serves the youngest generations in our communities, from birth to 22.   For infants and toddlers, from birth to 3 years old, who have developmental disabiliies, are at risk of developmental delays, or have a diagnosis of developmental disabilities, Life Steps offers in-home and center-based early intervention programs that support and maximize infant and toddler development, foster family involvement, and enhance parent/child relationships.   Our Getting Hip program serves children aged 8 to 12 and teens aged 13 to 22.  These youths, who have developmental disabilities, receive group social skills training (age- and ability-appropriate) that promotes successful social interactions in inclusive and community environments.  All the Infant and Children Services programs meet the unmet needs of our youngest community members.
