Infant and Children Services ProjectsThe Infant and Children Division of Life Steps serves the youngest generations in our communities, from birth to 22. For infants and toddlers, from birth to 3 years old, who have developmental disabiliies, are at risk of developmental delays, or have a diagnosis of developmental disabilities, Life Steps offers in-home and center-based early intervention programs that support and maximize infant and toddler development, foster family involvement, and enhance parent/child relationships. Our Getting Hip program serves children aged 8 to 12 and teens aged 13 to 22. These youths, who have developmental disabilities, receive group social skills training (age- and ability-appropriate) that promotes successful social interactions in inclusive and community environments. All the Infant and Children Services programs meet the unmet needs of our youngest community members. Services: |
