MISSION :

The Drug and Alcohol Division of Life Steps is committed to offering an environment conducive to revitalization and motivation for the purpose of empowering recovering families to achieve healthy, self-sufficient lifestyles of their choosing.

There is a high incidence of addiction among children of alcoholics and addicts. We want to break this cycle. Life Steps believes the cycle of addiction can be broken if services target the entire family - not just the mother. Additionally, many children of alcoholics and addicts are prenatally exposed to alcohol and other drugs resulting in a variety of physical, emotional, and mental problems requiring a variety of special services for normal development. This is a well planned project to provide for the special needs of these children
