OUR MISSION

The HR division is committed to working strategically with the diverse programs at Life Steps Foundation in identifying and responding to its changing needs. We will provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies and procedures, thus fostering a positive work environment.

WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

The Division is a resource for Life Steps Foundation and is a dynamic team who impact and promote equity and fair human relations throughout the organization. The Division is a customer-service organization responsive to the changing needs and expectations of the programs it serves.

The Human Resources division will work with managers and those partners who deliver service directly to the client to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local laws pertaining to personnel and affirmative action.

STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

  • Promote & support recruiting strategies and collaborate with program managers to create a high performing, workforce
  • Respond to the needs of managers, and staff in a helpful, supportive and pro-active manner and provide "quality" services.
  • Review policy as legislative, economic or conditions affect financial, legal or other operations of the programs and respond appropriately, creatively, effectively and timely with policy and procedure changes.
  • Develop partners excellence through training and consultation for employees that encourages growth and opportunity and fosters good, open communication and an overall positive work environment for all partners.
  • The HR Division will take a leadership role in providing services that support the programs by promoting the organization's core value that our partners are our most valuable resource and will be treated as such.
  • The HR Division will act as catalyst enabling all partners to contribute at optimum levels towards the success of Life Step's Programs.
