Erin Farrell

Erin Farrell currently serves as special assistant to the COO of The Gordy Company. A native of Los Angeles, Erin has spent much of her life working or volunteering for various human rights, social justice and nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining The Gordy Company, Erin was a part of the Emerging Markets division of New Century Financial Corporation, where she worked to provide and promote financial literacy and home ownership education in lower income communities throughout the United States.

Erin spent seven years working for Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.'s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition in Los Angeles.  In addition to her role as writer/researcher for Rev. Jackson, Erin also helped organize numerous large scale events - from awards dinners to house-party fundraisers to protests and rallies - prepared statements, wrote speeches, organized press conferences and helped coordinate efforts with other community organizations.

In addition to her social and nonprofit work, Erin nurtures a creative side that has contributed quite a bit to her eclectic journey.  She studied music and theater in Bennington, Vermont, studied acting in both Oxford and London, England, recorded music in Chicago and currently studies screenwriting in Los Angeles.

Erin earned a BA in psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
