Pediatric Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Early Intervention program seeks a physical therapist to serve its clients in the Whittier and Santa Ana areas.  The physical therapist provides physical therapy services to infants, who participate in Life Steps' in-home program, from birth to 3 years old.  Physical therapists use their skills, knowledge and judgment to consult about and produce—collaboratively with the infant's families, primary caregivers and other service providers—appropriate individual program plans.  Physical therapists also work with families to identify and respond to infants' developmental needs and progress.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited school for physical therapy
  • Licensed by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of the California Medical Board
  • One year of experience working with infants
  • Good communications skills in working with families and staff
  • Recent health exam
  • TB clearance
  • Current certificatioin in CPR and first aid
  • Fingerprint check
  • Valid California driver's license and current automobile insurance
