Duties and Responsibilities

Teach parents therapeutic techniques and behavior modification for their children who have mental and/or physical challenges.  Interact with child and confer with child's parents and other professionals regarding the child's mental and physical development.   Determine parents' ability to comprehend and apply therapeutic techniques.  Promote parents' ability to respond to their child's social and emotional needs, and develop teaching plans for parents to implement at home.
